The Michigan Grape and Wine Industry Council provides research, education and promotional support to the Michigan wine industry. Thursday, August 9, the Council will host the 2012 Gold Medal Wine Reception, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center. The reception is the grand finale of the Michigan Wine and Spirits Competition held earlier in the week. Sample award-winning Michigan wines paired with a generous array of culinary treats. Winemakers and owners will also be on hand to discuss their wines and share a glass with attendees.

Tickets are $40 in advance. Attendees must be 21 years of age. Vintage Michigan club members are eligible to receive a $10 discount on advance tickets (conditions apply).
